Day 1: Lunch

Day 1 of my food journal! 
Started with lunch
After watching an episode of "The Chew" I was inspired to put beans on my salads! I also had some canned salmon on hand and had no ideas for a recipe to use it in so this was perfect! The beans and salmon add protein to the salad to help you feel more full not to mention both are good for you! I just threw this together but it was super yummy so I thought I'd share it!


Black Bean and Salmon Salad:
4 Leaves of Romaine Lettuce
1 Roma Tomato
1 Can of Pink Salmon (Rinsed)
1 Can of Black Beans (Rinsed)
*Dressing of choice.. I used Light Sicilian Roasted Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette 
*Also, I put the rest of the rinsed beans and salmon away in the fridge for easier use later!
